Long overdue update

Well, I seriously need to update my blog, don't I? Well, quite a bit has been going on since I last blogged. Most recently, I attended the 2010 Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Convention in Las Vegas in March. Over 14,000 registrants from around the world. I was inspired by speakers and fellow photographers in attendance. Sessions were filled with technical, legal, creative, and other expertise. But, also great storytelling about behind the scenes. Let's see what else, I ran for Des Moines City Council. Of all the positions, the race I was ran the closest. I had just over 48% of the vote. I'm going to this short and will try to regularly update (especially if there are more readers ;-)
